pink69 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Are Opel really improving?

Opels team boss said that his team were now making progress after a good performance by Winklehock at the last round, but it was ony smokin joe who was really on the pace for opel. are opel making as much progress as they say they are. I hope so as the series needs a strong challenge for mercedes and after coming so close to winning the championship last season, they reall dropped off the pace. I hope that next season they're car proves competitve frok the world go.

i wonder if Opel will even bother with the DTM next year, their cars are uncompetitive, and the rule changes for this year, with car lengths, seems to have hurt Opel in the same way it has helped Abt Sportsline. Maybe Opel will go ETC, thats were all the manufacturers seem to be heading, and no new one's seem to be coming into DTM.

No, I don't believe that they are improving. They are still not quick enough to seriously trouble Mercedes or Audi.

I don't think so either. Real shame especially as Manuel Reuter is as good as Schneider in my view. And i really hope Opel stay next year otherwise the championship will be Works Mercedes, Privateer Mercedes and four Audi TT's!

I've heard strong rumours that the Abt sportline team will be getting support from the Audi manufacture for next season , althought I'm not sure that they will be taking over the team and making it a works Audi team.
