rallyloverke should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Valkenswaard Eurocircuit, Holland : 10/04

Some pictures of the race : https://picasaweb.google.com/Rallylover0710/20110410BelnedValkenswaard##

It was interesting to see some erc-regulars testing and also to see the new joker section.

Any details / photos of the new joker section ?
Some of the English guys are looking at going out there later in the year.

The joker section dos work.
Different lap leaders in A-final Supercars due to smart timing of his 'joker' by the winner.
The touringcars saw another result of the jokerlap rule, although Ivo v.d. Brandt was faster and had the nose of his Mitsubishi Colt almost all the time against (close to) of the rear of Mandy Kasse's Opel Astra OPC, he made the misstake of 'joker' with her. If... he hadn't joker'ed he would have overtaken her and make his 'joker' the next lap and stay ahead.
Extra time is 2 secs+.

The above picture is/was the situation during the last week before the April 10th race. There is still work to do and already has be done since the picture was made.

Damn its taken me a while to recognise what part of the circuit that is. It's the back loose section.

No, it's not.
The joker section is the "old" normal track, wich was a concrete corner, now it's a loose section.
The new normal track is in concrete, on the inside of the same corner.

The pano-effect is a bit confusing yes, Behind the trees above the yellow JCB is the start/tower. Leftside of the picture is the end of the 'Blomqvist street'. The roof you see is the press-office. I hope you can place it now.
Again, the tarmac is new-normal track. Gravel at the front is the joker section.

The Twingo looks nice.

About the white/blue Skoda. Autocross division 1 rules are the same as rallycross Supercars division rules?

Didn't read it myself, but I did hear that the cars are getting more and more the same.

Can someone please come up with a good answer why the f----- do we need joker laps after all these years
F1 needs silly rear wings which dont work after 2 laps or if your not close enough ,
Fia should be shot

Hehe, I dont mind them really

After watching some tracks use them for a few years now some work, some dont, Lydden's was awful but at least they seem to be trying new things.

I guess some will always hate them, but for me they are a new thing and one I dont mind.

Rather that than the boring old first to the corner, first to the flag that used to happen in some classes

Fair point I didn't explain myself very well. I did realise the tarmac track was the new part and they had increased the loose.

Although alot of the time the dust would carry over to the old part of the concrete track anyway Making it one long loose section.

Simple especially at the Eurocircuit, when have you ever seen a car overtake a another here without contact the only way to overtake here is be lucky or push your way through, causing costly damage to cars. Jokerlaps are here to stay the drivers want them and the majority of fans like them, unfortunately at some circuits they dont work as well as others, but they are here to stay, so why keep bringing up the same moans, move on......

you need to watch it a bit more ,i see more cars hitting armco or cars due to the joker lap ,so is that not costly damage

Belgian Blitz! should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Wouldn't that just be a case of going to fast?My humble opinion is still that drivers adapt to the track, not the other way round.
If u could go flat out all the way,it would be called dragracing
