Although I compete in the 250 superkart class which tends to have older drivers, when i look at the other classes KT100 Rotax they tend to be a lot younger, gearbox classes tend to full of us older guys.

Well I run in the over 40's class and I live in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

I share a Kart with my son. It is an old Kali ( that we bouf=ght second hand) with a Ymaha KT100J motor. Not as fast as the Kt100S motors.

I'm 19 now, and like Marcus, haven't raced for a while due mainly to lack of funds. My cricket has also started to take up much more time in the last few years. If I had the money, I'd still love to get back into it. I started in rookies, and finished in junior lights when I was 16. I raced mainly at Oran Park. I didn't have the money to move up through the ranks.

Woody
Fastest recorded top speed that i have seen was Martin Hines
at Daytona in 92-93 (somewhere around that time)162mph!they will also do a 1/4 mile in the 10 sec bracket.
David Coulthard drove one at silverstone and said it was the scariest thing he had ever done,i dont have the site adress
but if you do a search for Goodtimes racing it is the best superkart sitefor more info.

Robin TKM22 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I am 50 now and I started racing at 40. I wish I had the time and the money beforehand. I race twice a month in England in TKM Clubman class. I am reasonable competitive and until I show myself up and my body does not ache too much I will be carrying on for a few more years.
