6 months down...
Out of sheer boredom and the fact there's nothing on TV tonight, I decided to finally finish watching my DVR recording of the race. It just occurred to me, watching the final laps...it's been 6 months to the day since the race.
And my immediate thought: I've only got 6 months to plan 2012. Since this summer - my first race - a week hasn't gone by that I haven't thought about the race. That I haven't thought about meeting you guys. That I haven't thought about seeing the sun come up and watching the checkered flag wave. And it seems like a blur. After Christmas and New Years, I'll start piecing together the 2012 trip with some slight modifications. I'll go earlier, stay longer, and know where to go and keep my eyes open for you guys. See you in 6 months! |

Welcome back, Robert!
 The 6 month anniversary really hadn't dawned on me, but yes, we're already half way to Le Mans week 2012.......  Keep us posted on your thoughts/plans, we'll very much look forward to seeing you again in 2012. Hopefully, your earlier arrival will mean we can spend more time socialising than in 2011, the 10Tenths Saturday meeting is always all too brief for anything more than a 'hello'. I'm sure there'll be no shortage of help/advice forthcoming from Tenths members, should you need it. Looking forward to seeing you again in June!

I actually work on a slightly different clock for my Le Mans calculations, as my 'alarm' goes off the moment I leave work on my last day before my holiday. And apart from that, James and I are going to be in France the Saturday before! (Well, on the way, anyway!) |

can't believe how time is flying past, already have everything booked for next year but unlike some people i will only be arriving on wednesday, still looking forward to see you again Robert and if you happen to be close to tertre rouge campsite we might meet up before the saturday.
