Garage 56 2014
There may be doubts about whether Garage 56 will be filled in 2013, but according to this item from Autosport, 2014 is sorted.

Probably - along with the staff of Endurance-Info who announced the Autosport article (in French) this morning. If Gingers4Justice is right about Kettering, three months for the news to make it would seem quite speedy!

I will be interested to see how much space Nissan buy up this year in the village. Their stand was almost as big as Audi's last year for a G56 entry and P2 engine supply.
Obviously the dream would be for them to show off something ahead of next year but I'd guess that's a little way down the road yet. It depends how much work they'd done before they made the announcement I suppose. |

I hoped Drayson was looking to make his way back to Le Mans. Was disappointing to see him step away to "play Scalextric". The G56 is right up his street but he needs the right project and backers I suppose.

The issue with that article (which is AutoCAR not AutoSPORT btw) is that it suggests the DW was run by RML rather than Highcroft.

I hope the signing of Bowlby signals more from Nissan than just this next exploratory project. Specifically them following this 'timeline' towards P1.
I'd assume BB must have been a man in demand after what he did with the DeltaWing. |

well they are due at the test weekend in two weeks and if there is no sign of them by then the ACO will have to decide what to do

And I guess that if they do turn up they will have to turn a respectable (and reliable) lap time to be allowed to race, just like the Delta Wing had to last year.

There's a second Alpine at the test day. They might as well have put "ahem" in brackets next to the team name when they said they were bringing that along...

Well i think there is a good chance the first reserve might get the chance as still nothing coming that would indicate progression on the green car
