I agree with the sex on wheels bit
but if Checa is the one on that thing it's not heading for the championship it is headed for the bushes.. LOL |

Hey wait and see, Checa is more of a rearwheel steering type, and if the thing gives him confidence??!
Well I will not predict the future here, but I think he will do better on that thing than Max. |

No guys, the four-strokes will get clobbered. Haga will continue to crash as he did in WSB and 500 this year. Checa has never beaten Max in a direct confrontation on the YZR, and Max will ONLY switch to the M1 if it is clearly superior to the YZR. So far, despite its cheater engine, it is only equal.
Sex on wheels? No way- but the YZR and NSR are! |

Well, if you can read between the lines of Mick Doohans last press statement concerning the RC211V, he already realizes that the bike isn't on par with the NSR and is trying to convince Honda to keep him on the NSR. As far as the M1, i haven't seen anything offical about quick laps times, only what Yamaha has said, which must be taken with a grain of salt

The M1 turned competitive times at Brno, this was confirmed by an independent source, Erv Kanemoto. Although much was made of the fact that Checa's time with the M1 over race distance was 10 seconds faster than Rossi's winning time, it should be put into perspective. Checa was on a clear track, while Rossi had backmarkers to contend with. Furthermore, after Biaggi crashed there was no need for Rossi to go at full blast as nobody else was even close to him. There is little doubt that Rossi could and would have gone faster if somebody else had put him under pressure.
And this is what this year's NSR did, if HRC keep developing it next year's bike will be even better, and so will the YZR, KR3 and hopefully the RGV. |
