Who is currently the best Touring Car Driver in the World

I know this is hard to judge, due to the varying classes around the world, but who do you think is currently the best Touring Car driver in the world.

Bernd Schneider is the best driver in his own right.

Fabrizio Giovanardi is one of the best. All he needs to do is conquer Britain.
Plato shouldn't even be on the list, he dosn't compare with the great drivers like Tarquini and Schneider.

Skaife is another good driver, but could he adapt from the V6s to the BTC - Tourers?

Schneider is a good driver, but we've only seen him in the DTM.

I don't think Menu is the best Touring car driver.
He did well in Britain and he did **** this year in the DTM. he didn't score one single point!!!!!

Yvan Muller
Fabrizio Giovanardi
Bernd Schnieder
Laurent Aiello

These are the best 4 of the list. Of those, Scheider is the best.

There's many more i could have posted like Rydell etc.. but i only had 10 names to play with.

I would say between Giovanardi and Aiello.

To hard to tell, but I think Lowndes is the best of the Aussies, while Aiello is the best of the Europeans....

Skaife and Lowndes are the best in Australia. I reckon they'd give the Europeans a big shakeup too.

Schneider and Aiello are the best from Europe.

Givonardi. He will play for points if he can't get the win and he's always on the pace. He said he wants to race in the BTCC, he should of done in 98 but Alfa pulled out I believe.

But the rest of us favour QUALITY over QUANTITY, so tough. Please take the time to read the rest of the forum before posting in future to avoid duplication and covering the same old ground YET AGAIN.
