All of the above. But it has to go right to the top: the FIA

you missed out the option for Jean Todt, Ross Brawn and Luca Montezemolo because that's the one i'd go for. because they plan to wreck any good race Rubens has.

Ferrari.
Or the men who run the Ferrari squad anyway - Montezemolo, Todt, Brawn and TGF should all be ashamed of the way they have conducted the Ferrari team in the past few seasons. To bow to the wishes of one driver. Shameful display. |

Actually, I give my blame to the Tifosi, and all the other F1 zealots that follow the sport as if it were a religion.
Its the fact that the FIA knows it doesnt' have to do anything to keep fans that it allows Ferrari to get away with things like this. Ferrari knows they don't have to do anything to get fans, so they have no interest at all in doing anything 'for the good of racing'. They only care about one thing, $$$$ and I'm afraid that is the only hope anyone has of changing anything. |

I voted for 4:-
* Todt. He's the man at the top of the racing, it may well have been his call * Brawn. Definately his call. He was the mastermind of the operation, as so often before. Unfortunately, today he was an evil mastermind * Schumacher. I don't believe it was his idea, or even that he wanted it. However, he didn't say no to it either * Barrichello. With heinsight, is it a surprise. I was expecting it (just not in the final metre), and did not believe the statement at the launch: Quote:

I cannot follow the logic of the 2 (so far) who blame Rubens. The man behaved with honour and grace of a kind we have not seen from Michael (whose crocodile tears, as I've remarked elsewhere, are no more than self-serving spin) and Brawn.
I blame the FIA for letting it come to this, I guess, but as for blaming them specifically now -- surely it's too soon? We should wait until later when they've done absolutely bl**dy nothing. Last edited by Bibendum; 12 May 2002 at 18:37. |

Max Mosley will undoubtably make a statement and say something stupid and retarded like he usually does. The FIA and Ferrari suck.

It is not the fault of the FIA that Ferrari are a Cynical Sham of a Grand Prix team.
Ferrari chose to do it. The top six are all the same anyway. It is a team and as a team they did it. I think we have seen that today. However, Barichello behaved admirably. |

Today Barrichello should have celebrated, but the whole team of Ferrari screwed him over. My overall assessment of the race is a disgrace and a damn shame for all the Ferrari and F1 fans. Bunch of egomaniacs in Ferrari.

Oh dear, I promised myself I wouldn't respond to any of these threads, but......
Schumacher was totally 100% to blame. He was in the car. It had brakes. He could have refused to accept the team order. What were Ferrari going to do to him if he did? I gave up taking F1 seriously as a sport years ago. Any remaining interest I had was extinguished in Austria yesterday. |

I'm missing RB on that list. Why didn't he say "no way !!!" when he was asked to move over. He dominated the whole weekend and was about to win the race without any thread. Yet he gave up his victory because he was told to do so. Isn't that plain mad ? Why didn't he have the balls to just ignore the order. It would have been HIM who scored maximum points for the team. Should he be sacked for doing so ? Mind you, he has a 2 year contract. He should be awarded "clown of the weekend" that poor jerk.
