Speaking in today's Motoring News, Johnny Herbert blasted Team Green today: "The car is almost exactly the same one as we had in Melbourne. There has been almost no development at all and I am not aware of any more coming.

"Cosworth are bringing out a new engine in time for Austria but that's it. All we have done this year is get on top of engine reliability problems, but we're still having everything else break.

"Really this team is still Stewart. Jackie and Paul have gone, but that's it. This is still a small team - if you look at Stewart's history it was all **** apart from last year when they lucked into a good car."

Herbert's strong words suggest he knows his days at Jaguar are numbered, and it is possible he may not last until the end of the season. Herbert himself has suggested he may be racing in the Champ Car series in the future.

...and it's reported that Jag is interested in testing Franchitti. Maybe an even-up swap between Team Green and Team Kool Green would benefit both teams. (See similar post in F1 forum)
