The WSBK is down to One Race.
Man, Edwards and Bayliss will fight for the title at the last race of the season in Imola in three weeks time. Edwards is leading Troy by one point after the Assen round in which Edwards got a big break when Bayliss crashed his bike in race two. Who will win the WSBK title on Sept. 29th, Bayliss or Edwards??

I think Edwards will snatch it, the new Honda looks absolutely stunning and Ducati have suffered from arguably trailing down their development to prepare for MotoGP. It just goes to show, not so long ago Bayliss was cruising to what looked a certain successful defence. If only F1 had seasons like this

Bayliss will get there. This is just a test of character - a commodity he has oodles of.

will good for troy to have to actually race hard and win if he is going to be world champion. the pressure is now on colin and a dnf could be in his near future.

It's always easier to chase and succeed than defend.

Edwards. Bayliss's mentality has gone.

Edwards, he's got the bike , the wins in succession, Bayliss is fast and never gives up but I think it will be returning to Texas

Yes, good stuff. I hate to see someone have such horrible luck but it means that Imola will be a war. Edwards needed a gift and he got it

I don't want to predict who will win.
But I will say that this is what motorracing is all about. Two contenders, 1 point between them and the final round of the year. Bring it on! |
