RTH should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ford Focus V8

Last week at the Las Vegas motor show Ford Motor Co. unveiled a 420 BHP Focus RS front engine rear wheel drive using a 5 litre Mustang Cobra V8 with 502 Nm of torque - but externally looking identical to the 2 litre RS currently on sale in the UK - anyone fancy one ?

neato idea for a concept, but it'd never work- i feel the balance might be off.
the 5.0 litre motor is a special crate "cammer" they made.
derived form the od Mustang 4.6 litre, and stroked to a fat 5.0 for power and torque. nice huh, check www.autoweek.com
they have the story too.

Several companie shave been shoehorning Mustang Cobra R drivelines into Focus hatchbacks. Phase X does a really nice one with silent exhausts and factory wheels. Looks like the normal SVT Focus until it blows off everything but an exotic or a quick bike.

That is still on the cards, - it will be 4WD based on the 2003 WRC Body shape.

The All new Focus which is a quite different car will be shown next year , deliveries may not start 'till 2005
