Minardi fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
According to PC Format, an official add-on disc will be released by Hasbro Interactive at the end of the year which will update GP3 to '99 stats.

Thus leaving us exactly where we are now, 2 years behind. I think I need to go and get some of those patches...

Forget Hasbro, the Internet GP3 freaks will provide much better updates than Hasbro ever will.

The 'freaks' already have.
I have all year 2000 stats, the cars have the current colours, the drivers have the right helmets and performance is as off the GP of Hungary.
All my tracks are up to date, expect a Malaysia and Indianapolis track soon.
I even made my own oval track. Three cars side by side at 220 mph for more than 15 laps. Cool. And when something goes wrong on that oval, expect a mass collision as you haven't seen before.

Gerard, does this mean that the GP2 banking bug is fixed?

Heven't had a chance to check it out yet, I only got the game last weekend.

OK, I checked it out and it is sort of fixed. From most angles the computer cars on the banking appear fine, however there are a few angles from which they appear to be riding flat.

PS

I don't have the track editor yet, so I downloaded the Honza super oval by Matti Laitinen, and have had some of the largest accidents ever in an F1 car. The oval is based off of Hockenheim and features 5 banked turns. It gets very narrow with barriers on each side. I won a 4 lap race after a heated battle with Mika Hakkinen. We almost went 1 full lap side by side!

Gerard, have you tried that crazy Silverstone track yet? The one with all of the crazy elevation changes. I can't get through the second corner at all. But the rest is neat.

Jay, I also tried the Honda oval based off of Hockenheim.
It still has a few bugs but the racing is fantastic.
I haven't yet downloaded the Silverstone track but it sounds like fun.
I wasn't aware that it was available but I will look into it at the weekend. Thanks for the tip.
