Who will be missed?

I've doen simialr threads in some other series, but now that the BTCC grid is looking clearer, I'll pose the question here. Of the drivers who look to have lost their rides, who will be the most sadly missed?

Sorry guys, can one of the moderators edit this to allow multiple posts?

If Reid doesn't get a seat, it'll be a crying shame. He's still the class act of the BTCC, and that he hasn't won a title since Japanese Formula 3 is little short of criminal. Remember that in 1998 he was faster than Rydell.

Reid / Pyper and Collard. If anyone could take the MG fight to Vauxhall over the past two seasons its been Reid. Always up for a fight on, and off the track! Pyper could have a bright future in the BTCC if he can find funding, hes quick and has the talent to mix it with the top guys. Collard was very impressive last year, beating the works cars from time to time. Hope he gets a seat this year!

Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Collards entering in his Astra again, and theres still a chance Pyper could find a drive

Gavin is one of the guys who I really miss in the BTCC. I've watched him go from a shy young kid to a fully fledged racing driver and it would be a great shame if it ended now.

Quite surprised Hughes has no votes yet, surely he will be missed more than Alan Blencowe!?!?!?

You are so right i have watched Gavin from his early karting days right through the V6 sri challenge to the BTCC. Lets hope there are sponsors out there with enough vision to recognise real talent and driving ambition and with the right budget could definitely come away with the silverware.

well Collard is definatly back, and Bentwood likely to be.

Think i'll miss Pyper for his fiery nature, much like i did end of last year. And Howell will be a sad loss if he doesnt get the TD seat.

I guess Hughes was a bit too inconsistent and too much of a tower of the corperate line to be missed.

There was something about him which i found really annoying. Probably that he always praised the MG, i know it's PR and all that but he rather over done it....

Reid or Leslie I'd say. At least Gav and Paul have time on their side.

I'd miss Owy because he is such a nice bloke to chat to and I loved to watch him race. I'd also miss Leslie, class driver.
