How long have Silverstone been taking a Church break?

I'm sure the last time I was there, we didn't have one!

Do marshals HAVE to go?

It's a break so that the racing doesn't disturb the service, and no, you don't have to go it's 20 minutes, and will take you taht long to get there from post.

After seeing the Regulations for the LMES, and having just got back from the FIA ITC in Paris as a result of the GT's at Donington (the last BRSCC meeting I did), I'm not sure I want to come and play with them again in the pits at Silverstone! Go on Mel, convince me!!!!!!!

The church break is put in so that the noise of the engines does not drown out the church bells, its a long standing agreement as far as I know.

Grrr, clashes with Shelsley, and I so love Sportscar enduros.

Trouble is, I love British champs at Shelsley too. Why couldn't it have been any other week-end? Don't suppose they'd put it back a week for me, would they?

"thebear" will be there, possibly working with "racegypsy". I will also be writing a story about the trip for Marshal's Post website (Travels with thebear, Episode ??). Hope to meet as many of you as I can.

On a serious note!

Anyone, with any Pit knowledge, please come and help!

When I last spoke to Mel, she was very short of Marshals

The pit regulations for the FIA GT were a breeze compared to the LMES - and look what happened there

Soooooooo, ........ "The LMES/BRSCC/Silverstone needs YOU"

Both Friday and Saturdays provisional t/table seems to have an ERROR. Where is the break for lunch. I love Sportscars, but this is taking the you know what out of us all. Once again due to the time of year, the GP circuit, the timetable and falling numbers of marshalling the circuit will be poorly manned.
