MGCC return to Mallory Park

Just to let you all know that we still have some vacancies for Marshals of all persuasions at our Race Meeting this coming Sunday.
It is a few years since we had a meeting at Mallory and we are really looking forward to the return.
If you find yourself available, please give me a call. (my details can be found at www.mgcc.co.uk and click on marshals) We have a very good entry which will provide our usual excellent competitive Club racing. A welcoming free cup of Tea/Coffee at sign-on, a fiver for breakfast or lunch, we start practice at 09.30am finish at 6.00pm latest, and an hour for lunch around 12.15pm.
I look forward to hearing from you,
John Watson - Chief Marshal MG Car Club

Got mine last week. Can't wait for the usual MGCC full grids and close racing. Should be 'very' interesting as they haven't visited Mallory for a very long time.

John,
I've put the call out amongst the TSSC 'groupies' to give you a call if they were coming to spectate. I know you've already snagged one for Cadwell. Let's see if wen can't snare a few more.

BTW - had a great time marshalling at Snetterton and then spun a bearing at Pembrey last weekend. Too busy sulking now to marshal at the weekend though. But you never know... if your really struggling...

I *might* put in an appearance spectating if I sober up enough as I'm off to Beer Fest Saturday night!

My most grateful thanks to everyone who were at Mallory Park yesterday, (Marshals, Officials, and Competitors), for making our return visit such a resounding success. We hope you all enjoyed your day, inspite of the short downpour.
Although it may be unfair to single anybody out, I must just say a special thanks to Fay, Alan, and Paul, for their help and input, prior to, and during the meeting.
We hope to be back next season.

John Watson - Chief Marshal, and on behalf of the MG Car Club

From a spectators point of view I'd love to see MGCC at Mallory every season. Great days racing and very efficiently run.

Results were working on MST this morning.

Thanks again to all the marshals. I was there as a competitor and enjoyed my day once again.

On behalf of everyone in the MG Metro Cup, many thanks to all the Marshalls. We had a great race, and thorougly enjoyed coming back to Mallory Park for a championship round after far too many seasons away.
