Alfa Romeo 155 GTA - CIVT 1992 Video

Hi,

I'm a big fan of the Alfa 155 GTA , the car that won the Italian Touring Car Championship of 1992 , driven by
Nicola Larini and Alessandro Nannini.
I would like to know if any of you has any videos
about the 1992 season of the Italian Touring Car Championship ( CIVT - Campionato Iataliano Velocitá Turismo ).

Thanks.

The alfa 155 was the car that really spurred my interest in Motor racing - I have a model of Bartels Jagermeister 155 on my desk at the moment.

Good luck on your search..

Alfas may not be my #1 in my books, but I have to say for a boxy car, they look pretty nice! The DTM 155s had a particular mean look to them.

Alfa Romeo 155 GTA

Dear Friend :

How do you do ?
I am also a Alfa Romeo fan ( specially issues regarding Nicola Larini and Alessandro Nannini ) and I saw your add in this forum .

You can see some interesting videos of the Alfa 155 V6 TI of Nicola Larini winning the 1993 DTM in the following URL :

http://www.carsfromitaly.com/alfaromeo/dtm1993.mpeg

It has about 3 or 4 Mb , so to save it in your computer , right click on it and choose « save target as » to place it in your computer .

There is also another vÃ*deo , but this one regarding the Alfa 156 of Fabrizio Giovanardi winning the 1998 Italian touring Car championship in :

http://www.carsfromitaly.com/alfaromeo/itc1998.mpeg

To save this video , use the above procedure .

By the way , I am also looking for a specific TV spot / commercial of the Alfa Romeo 155 , from the beggining of the 90´s ( 1992 or 1993 , probably ) .

The spot / commercial was used in Europe ( in 1992 or 1993 ) and it showed the red Alfa 155 GTA that won the Italian Touring Car championship ( with Larini ) in 1992 .

In that spot ( filmed in a raining day ) the other Alfa driver , Alessandro Nannini , arrives in the Alfa boxes in a normal 155 for a test with the race 155 GTA , but at that time , the car was already on the track in a test with another driver ( named Ivo (?) , I believe ) that was testing the tyres ....

Alessandro did not wat to wait until the return of the competition 155 , and he leaves the boxes in his normal 155 to make a race against the 155 GTA !

With great images of both cars racing on track , the spot / commercial ends with the cars stoped side by side and with Nannini asking ( with a big smile !!! ) to the other driver : « controlate benne il gomme ? » ( wich means : « Did you made a good tyre test ? » ) .

Beautiaful spot !!
You all must see it !!!

This is what I remember , and I would really thank any information about this specific spot / commercial that I am looking for many years , but without sucess ....

Could anyone help me ?
Thanks a lot already in advance .

IMPORTANT : Please reply also for my e-mail ricardolapa@yahoo.com since I am not a regular visitor of this website .

Goodbye all and enjoy nice Alfa drives !!
