Thats not the point...you could have got it back together!
Also as it turns out I will be moving the week after so I have to spend the weekend packing, which sucks! |

Mondello Park Press Release
Ireland's most successful single seater championship is set to return to it's glory days this weekend when more than seventy competitors from Ireland and the UK line up for the 'TOPCON' Formula Vee festival. Following separate championship rounds for both the UK and Irish drivers on Saturday the two classes will combine on Sunday for a feast of single seater racing.
Having survived for more than quarter of a century the budget single seater class has never been more competitive with four different winners in the first four rounds of the Irish championship. Robbie Parks leads the series from round four winner, Trevor Delaney, but with two championship rounds to be decided on Saturday all that could change by the start of Sunday's festival. The UK series is led by Martin Donn from Mike Jenvey both of whom travel to Ireland this weekend but favourite to take the top spot on his home circuit will be Clondalkin's Ken Elliott who currently lies eight in the series after four rounds. Two Irish competitors will join Elliott in the British series race. Regular UK championship competitor Fergus Dalton and Leastone constructor Paul Heavey, who gives his all new Leastone JH004 its UK series debut, will will also be flying the home flag. Sunday's programme should be a cracker, with the championship races out of the way the two series will join together for a no holds barred battle for the festival crown. The drivers will have to come through a semi final and possibly even the last chance race before they can take their place on the final grid. The Irish competitors will be hoping that as in previous Mondello festivals their local knowledge and the tight nature of the Mondello circuit will help them to bridge the gap to the slightly quicker UK cars and make it a truly international battle for the top prize. The two day event boasts a strong supporting cast with Formula Sheane, Historics, Strykers and Formula Libre completing the Saturday package. On Sunday the single seater theme continues with the growing Irish Formula Ford series joining the programme for two races. Entrance prices for the weekend have been reduced courtesy of the 'TOPCON' backing for the event and unusually admission will be charged per car no matter how many passengers are carried. Weekend admission will cost €25.00 per car with Sunday's €20.00 admission representing extremely good value. The 2005 'TOPCON' Formula Vee Festival programme bucks the recent trend towards Saloon racing topping the bill with no less than 17 single seater races. Formula Vee alone will account for eleven races over the two days making this weekend a must for fans of open wheel racing.
