Wet Testing

I've read all about that teams this year have not done much testing on the wet..... is that the norm.... do they always wait till it rains to test.... is there a track that is usually wet most times of the year that they can go to to test... seems like the teams aren't prepared... and new teams like Toyota should go out their way to collect data on wet tracks...

Sprinklers installed on the tarmac anyone?

Why is that funny? That's what Ferrari have at Fiorano... well not exactly sprinklers on the tarmac, but there is some sort of artificial track wetting system to allow wet testing.

Thing is this year, with the limit on testing days, most teams haven't wanted to "waste" days testing in the wet.

And to be fair, we haven't had any wet races so far, so it's a fairly logical thing to do.

Oh... well I din know that... if i did i wont ask the question... I can see why they'll consider it 'wasted' testing days.... but when the chance arrived now... with the wash out of Friday second practise and some teams idea not to practise thoroughly in the first testing lost out on valuable testing data.... then with no rain really on saturday during qualifying... they still have not info about the wet to me(open for correction)
