Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
BTCC Models

Is there any interest here in collecting 1/43 scale BTCC die-casts?

Spark recently produced the Carl Breeze Alfa 156 BTCC 2004, and if there is enough interest in other models, they would be able to produce more.

But for it to be financially viable for any company to commision them, they would need a guarantee that there would be interest in them.

If you want any BTCC diecasts I would suggest either contacting Spark directly, or leaving comments on the models you would like to see here.

I personally would love to see more BTCC die-casts made available, and over the last few years I have been very disappointed by the lack of production.

Let me of the codes you would like to see produced. In a few weeks I collate all the interest and sent the codes of the more popular ones to Spark.

1:43 too small.

Need bigger. I don't collect whole fields or anything anymore, I got most of the 1995 F1 1:43 models, but since just grab the old sale 'big' car.

Put me down for a large Muller sport hatch and the Leggate coupé

I would be interested in but 25 quid is a bit much isnt it? Minichamps produce superb models for 20.

Its standard price. Spark charge £25 for 1:43 scale touring cars, and Minichamps £27 usually.

I have to say I'd be more interested in them as kits - I just prefer to be responsible for my own finishing and decal placing.

But if diecasts they must be, then just one of each basic shape of machine will do me!

I can't see any problem in them being able to offer that. IF I can get the interest required, I may be willing to commision some of them myself.

I have asked Alan over at TocaForums as to whether he will be able to try and set up an official collection, as that would be the perfect scenario.

I have totalled all the requests so far - and its looking positive. It will definitly help me in my quest to get BTCC replicas back in full scale production.

Yea, do some 1/18 scale versions of the most popular cars. I'd love them to do the full range of MG, from when they joined back in 2001, right up to 2005.

Alfa Fan, can you clarify something for me. Are you personally going to commission Spark to build these models or just forward the list as a suggestion? Where have you got the £24.99 price from, is that an actual figure basis on a commissioned production run or just a best guess based on what other models sell for?

I'd be interested in some of these but is this actually likely to happen or just wishful thinking?

It was for me to use to guage what interest there would be in the cars, at the standard £24.99 (Sparks usual RRP for 1:43 Touring Cars).I was looking at possibly commisioning some, but IXO told me they'd need 10,000 purchased (no way) and Spark haven't got back to me. (despite the fact they've answered my other questions, odd)
