I thought i would look at the V8 Supercar site and it would tell me there. Was a waste of time.

Bahrain is +3UTC. Those in the eastern states with DS are +11 UTC, Queensland is still +10UTC, etc. So, practise starts 9:15pm in Syd/Melb, work the rest out from there... Add the number of hours to the schedule on V8 supercars for the rest of the events. It's not rocket science.

Thanks Dolmio. Perhaps V8 Supercars could learn a little from Caltex Racing. Won't hold my breath though.

Notice that the V8 Supercar site is still showing race 2 as a reverse grid race.

Sunday has religous significance in that nation (and many others), that precludes certain sporting and recreational activities.
Just like in Australia, certain religons also dont partake in the above activities on Sundays.

If Sunday is a religious thing for them, why are the F1's on a Sunday?

Get used to it Aquarius ...

Its a fact of life now and not matter what we think it is the direction racing is going .... at least for the present time.

It seems to have the support of the teams and drivers, so from within the sport doesn't look like it will get opposition.
