Looks like an especially strong Busch field.
The "Usual suspects" are about, 3 DEI guys, Dale, Paul and Martin. Kenseth is there, so is Hornish Jr, Juan Pablo, Marcos Ambrose, Carl Edwards. My own favorite is Front Row Joe is listed in the entry list for the race. First practice is http://www.jayski.com/busch/next/200...a.htm#practice |

The top 35(?) in Team Points (Owner points) are automatically in the race once they set a time. The remaining cars have to qualify on speed alone for the remaining places.
What it means is that he's starting the first few races no matter what, and if he doesn't race very well he might have to start doing it on speed. Basically it's so the people contesting the championshio are guarenteed to start the race. |

If you havn't noticed, Hazza, and anyone in Aus, the Busch series looks like it will be on Fox sports rather than ESPN over here, probably will be the same for Cup in the 2nd half of the season.
I'm going to have a lot of racing to watch next week ...while recovering from having my wisdom teeth out |

right so Im a bit confused with Nascar and how they qualify.
Ambrose will be 40th on the grid then ??? For Aussie viewers the race will be shown live on Fox Sports 2 at 4am Sunday Morning. I have my alarm set |

Is this another tactic by Ambrose i.e. running at the back of the pack?
A time of 49.788 is ALLOT slower than his previous attempts. Anyway anything can happen good luck to Ambrose . |

As for Marcos' strategy? He has stated that he's ging to run around the back of the pack for the first half of the race and then try to work his way up through the pack. |

So? Picks?
I'm going for an upset win Montoya, if not, it'll be a DEI car, a Harvick car or hopefully a Wood Brothers car |

Tony Stewart or Dale Jr. will win it.
Would love to see Juan Pablo Montoya or Marcos Ambrose pick up the win though EDIT - Going to be awesome hearing Rusty and Dr. Punch again btw. Andy Petree is an untested card, but he should be alright too. EDIT #2 - Btw, the pole-sitter Aric Almirola had a rather interesting moment during Busch Series testing at Daytona in January. They sure seem to catch air real easy sometimes EDIT #3 - Ah yes, had completely forgotten about Sam Hornish Jr. - here's hoping he'll have a solid run as well. First caution, for two cars getting together and spinning off turn 2. A third car got into the wall in a separate incident as well.

Yup, and David Ragan in the #6 was the car that got turned into the wall and damaged the right front.
