Pepsi: Good one! As a Die Hard Seton Fan its good he'll have the sponsership for next year and be around for a few more years. Hopefully some more sposners will come abored and get the second car up and running. But what I think has Let Glenn down this year is Car Setup. Droping the second car hasn't helped him at all. Hes been in the 12th-25th all year and been getting in everyones else promblems and offtrack adventures doing plugs from Greenfield! |

I think Glenn suffers from the same problem that all other 'owner drivers' do.
Once upon a time it wasn't such an issue but these days you either have to be a driver or owner but not both. None of the guys up the front, particularly young guys, think twice about going for half a gap of 'flat changing' gears all day long because if something breaks or they break it, they simply turn up next time. Those from the old school where reliability was a greater concern and those who have to deal and pay for problems, perhaps even sub-conciously, think twice and therefore are little more concervative. It wont be long before 'owner drivers' are a thing of the past due to the ever increasing demands of the sport. |
