Yet more Bernie v. Manufacturers

Just a little snippit from today's Daily Mail. After the recent end-of-year ultimatum on Bernie by Luca Di Montezemolo to "produce a blueprint that offers a far more equitable distribution of F1's revenue", Bernie has given a subtle hint as to his authority.

He's parked his car - a brand new limited edition £250,000 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud (the first BMW-Roller) - outside the McLaren Mercedes Motorhome - just to get a little bit of tension. The loaned car may be there to be making a point after taking to BMW bosses at Imola after their complaints that he was driving a Merc.

Mclaren say: "Bernie's taking the mickey bu putting such an ostentatious car outside our home in the paddock. Some of us are less than impressed"
Bernie says, in his typical flair: "Where else am I supposed to park the car? My parking spaces just happen to be located outside McLaren. We share everything in Formula One excpet our wives"
