Luca Badoer could maybe test at Monza for weeks and weeks before the race there and he'd be able to enter with a great chance of winning. If F1 allowed wildcards to enter selected races, we might see relatively unknown drivers winning: I mean, look at the world superbikes - in the British rounds, the British wildcards enter and are frontrunners. Would this type of thing work in F1???

And Mr. Hoshino had an excellent present of his birthday, because today his main driver Satoshi Motoyama won the F.Nippon race at Suzuka. Hoshino owns a proper team, Impul, in which he raced for many, many years until 1996 (yes, he fighted alongside Ralf Schumacher, Norberto Fontana and Pedro de la Rosa!). After that he only manage his team and also had an extension of his team in the Japanese GT series.
