bosch! should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Bridgestone Rubber Compound Tests:

Last I read on this the FIA had still not gotten any results from the tyres they confiscated from Ferrari at Monza. Does anybody know why chemical tests on the rubber should take so long?

Does this mean that they have questions for bridgestone, surely if the test confirmed that the front and back tyres were from the same compound we would have heard this by now.

I sense a stitch up here, ie they are waiting to see how many points TFG wins the WDC by and then the penalty can be adjusted to be that margin -1. call me cynical but Bernie wont allow Ferrari to lose.

Just read autosport page 9. Bridgestone in the clear regarding dual-compounds. Tests were carried out on rubber from Italian GP. Front and rear same compound. The FIA also are using this experience to carry out tests next year.

Errr... Hello? I thought the accusation was that Bridgestone was running illegal compounds up until Monaco qualifying 1, after which they stopped, how is testing Monza tyres going to prove anything?

Some Michelin teams suggested that Bridgestone maybe running dual compounds - the other bit [Michelin] was about wider contact patch which then was changed for Monza.
Your first point: They have to take the test sometime. How long have Michelin been on wider tyres? Try and prove or disprove that?
What we do know is that Bridgestone are cleared whilst Michelin had to redesign a new tyre.

They won't risk changing the results...not because its ferrari but because that would result in a lawsuit about the michelins being to big. The FIA really is interested solely in keeping their sport 'respectabl' which to them means out of controversy (in the general media, which doesn't really care about tire compounds) and out of the courts.
