Ico
So you thought Metal Gear Solid 2's graphics were great? You ain't seen nothing until you play Ico, released today for PS2. The fact that it plays like a dream just cements the fact that it's one of the best games released so far for the PS2. I would URGE you to go and buy this game... More as I play...

MF the graphics look good yes, but I got a demo today and the gameplay seems a bit boring and repetative to me. |

Completed the game last night, and it is superb. The puzzles are a work of genius, nothing less. The visuals are phenomenal, and the replay value is enormous as you can go through it with two players. Highly emotional and definitely one of the PS2's finest.

True, but how long did MGS2 take you? Admittedly Ico is short, but then again, most games are these days.

MGS2 took me nearly 18 hours to complete first time round, spread over about 5 days. I've played it through a total of 4 times now though and the shorest its taken me is 10 hours!

Ico took me about 11 hours to finish first time - longer than Silent Hill 2 and only marginally shorter than the original Metal Gear Solid. Thing is, Ico is more than just how long it lasts - it's an experience.
