As a regular visitor of this forum I should warn you for forum hosts Jhansen and Schummy. They are not from this world and have very weird powers (just ask a guy called Knowlesy). You should also be aware of Hazza, he WILL change your posts without warning. If you would like to compete in Schummy's competition, please bring a bag full of money, otherwise you will not receive any points. If you want to become a regular in this forum thread, you are NOT allowed to visit the F1 thread, otherwise you will be permanently banned. Oh, btw, Welcome PS. the bike forum is the most serious thread at 10/10ths. |

Welcome Michael.
The mods here aren't as bad as Gerben24 makes out. They are much worse than that. Quote:

Welcome to the forum Michael!
Pay no attention to these disparaging comments. This forum is as serious as it comes and is only for the truly committed mind (as in institutional). Pay no attention to the race thread titles, as they are meaningless. The forum hosts are of the friendly sort since we have yet to be fully corrupted. Now the mods on the other hand are scary indeed. We are also blessed (cursed) by mods from other forums. And be advised, the F1 Forum is a far off land that should not be visited often. If you visit there regularly you will become used to discussion about boring topics such as industrial espionage, contract disputes, and the theoretical possibility of overtaking. The only serious discussion we’ve had to undertake is a small matter of Italian tax evasion. On the plus side, bike racing rules the world! PS. Gerben you have been negged for that! You had a point?
Pay no attention to Gerben, he rides a Yamaha. Surly he can't be in his right mind. Even Rossi is questioning the tuning fork these days... Last edited by jhansen; 17 Oct 2007 at 15:56. |

Michael, welcome here. By the way, Gerben (as you probably have noted already) is one of those rare persons here who actually put serious info in this forum. That way we avoid to be expelled from Ten-Tenths because of terminal nonsense. |

Michael, following the info about this forum, let me tell you about my job here. What is a "Forum Host"?, you can (could) ask yourself. Well, a FH is basically a clown, a payed clown, that is.
My job is trying to be as non-serious as I can. Every month Ten-Tenths pay me according to the amount of post this bike forum has. For this reason I usually post a lot with a variety of nicks ("Hazza", "bestfit", even "marcus" when I'm depressed). This way I increase the traffic and I receive more payment. Simple, isn't it? (Of course all that is absolutely false and illegal, and even if it was true, I would negate it) (This useless post is a possible proof of that thing about the traffic) |
