TV Coverage of the Le Mans 24 Hours 2009
Did anyone DVD the coverage of this years' event? If so would you consider making a copy? I will reimburse you for disk(s) and your time.

Actually, if you get Eurosport player you can get a repeat of the entire race plus more before the beginning of the race that you didn't get on the live broadcast. The only problem is there is no commentary so you would probably have to use Radio Le Mans' podcast.

That is great! Too bad there's no way to get the footage because one day they'll remove it.

entire 24h Race coverage 38 Gigabyte approx.
Practice, Qualifying, Warm-Up & Legends Race 10 Gigabyte approx. That's with German comentary though but I fill up the remaining spaces on the dvd's with the RLM podcasts and timing sheets. So Practice, Qualifying, Warm-Up & Legends Race are spread over 5 DVD's. I haven`t burned the race files yet so I can't say how much DVD's that will take |

No one but i feel that such details would be better stored in pm's
Well, the files are "as is" how win-tv recorded them. Commercials could be cut out and most probably it could be run through some shrink tool too. But I am not good at this so I burn "as is" usually. When I am done I'll report on the used dvd's. |

I know it must take a lot of work to do & guys have the best of intentions when they take the trouble, but I actually find it a pain in the backside when people do this - especially with enduro races as it makes it impossible to sync radio le mans recordings and/or LT&S playbacks.

Actually I haven't cut out anything. I lined all files up how they were recorded too. This rather wastes disk space but keeps the order as the file size vary greatly thanks to manual channel switching. Overall I am at 17 dvd's with all available radio le mans podcasts ; aco rulebook, statistics, timing sheets & gazettes and other data I collected around the le mans days.

No need to cut out the adverts, there is a fast forward button after all, besides in years to come the adverts will be quite amusing!
