McCoy
McCoy had a highside at Le Mans and will not be able to compete at the race today and possibly the next round as well after breaking a bone (can't remember which one).
Biaggi has taken pole, Roberts 2nd and Rossi 3rd with Nakano an excellent 4th. |

Leon Haslam followed McCoy face-first into the tarmac - I think at the same corner. Broke the same wrist, and out for the same amount of time!

 ).The bone in question is in the wrist anyway. |

La Mans is too slippery (many injuries and many rider complaints)
and is too dangrous for professional atheletes to race on. It is just a drag strip anyway! That said the TV pictures were of quite a good quality. But the track wasn't. |

They use teh Le Mans short circuit, not the one that the 24hr sportscar race uses. The short circuit has more twists and is a lot shorter.
