L1 for sale
TEGA have apparently been advised that one of the Dynamik L1's has been put on the market. I wonder what this will mean to Will Davison's drive.

LOL. This franchise system becomes more ridiculous by the minute.
So TEGA can just decide to sell someone elses asset can they? Incredible |

How long have i been saying that Larry will buy Dynamiks L1 and Dynamik will run the remaining L2's without a penalty.
No ones been listening to me, and even some have taken a swipe at me. I would expect Larry to snap up the L1's pretty quickly. |

What do u reckon the going price would be for a L1 with the penalties accrued from Dynamik attached ?

Can you sell only one L1 licence? I thought they came as a pair?
I also don't think anyone should assume that Larry will snap them up. I know that others have been discussing with Kieran Wills purchasing them. |

Who currently owns them ? Team Dynamik as an entity or another party ?
Given that the L1 Franchise comes with penaltys attached, it would effect the market value of them. It could be interesting .. Kieran Wills vs Larry Perkins trying to outbid each other for the L1, and the other party left with the 2 X L2's. |

One would assume that Team Dynamik own their pair of Level One franchises. That may entail shareholders other than Kieron Wills directly.
Team Dynamik are quite within their rights at any time to inform TEGA that they have put one of their franchises up for sale, and are indeed legally required to under the TEGA teams agreement. Franchises may be traded on a "per each" basis, and there is nothing to stop a team running a L1 and a L2 to constitute a 2 car team as far as I know. Mr Washington is based in Adelaide, and has a "spare" L2 to execute a "swap" of a L2 lease for a L1 purchase. There could be both pros and cons to buying this/these particular franchises though and I certainly wouldn't transfer the lease of any franchise in my control until the replacing franchise I was to purchase had been okayed. Carefully, carefully on price too, otherwise this could well be TEGA Acquisition #2 and the field cut to 33 cars. If any of this has ever happened or will ever happen of course |

I have heard that although the L1 has been put on the market the eventual buyer might not be that far from the current team.

Something about the wording in the CAMS Appeal Court where they specifically mentioned a penalty for the Last round of 2004 and the first round of 2005. Im assuming by this they mean that although the Dynamic appeal late last year held off the penalty for 2004, they (CAMS) cant now carry over the 2004 penalty to 2005. So now they will only get a 1 lap penalty in 1 race, not 2. Correct me if im wrong, but thats how im reading it? Also the Clipsal 500 is 2x250km races so that reduces the effect of the penalty even more because in the seond leg they wont be a lap down. |

Some speculation says that the new owner will see a driver change

But GTR, answer me this if you can. With 'Mad' Oscar as a stakeholder in the Dynamic team, will he; a) be able to purchase the L1 outright ? b) go down in history as the man who made Craig Lowndes go the slowest of his career OR c) be just another crank who thought he could set up a car ?....................... |

Apparently both of the Dynamik L1's were on the market last year but were withdrawn when the deal that was being mooted did not require TEGA's approval as it was only a family transaction. I don't know whether this latest 'sale' is under the same criteria.
