Irish RX Test Day

Dear Competitor,

Further to discussions at the end of season Open Forum, MondelloPark intends to offer competitors the opportunity to test at the circuit in advance of this season’s championship rounds.

There are two options open to us and we are asking competitors for their thoughts in advance of any final decision on the timing of this testing.

Option 1
The test day would be scheduled for the Saturday or Sunday, one week before the event. The main points of note here are;

·There would be no restriction on numbers attending.
·Ample time for competitors to repair any mechanical or crash damage before the championship round the following week.
·Ample time for the circuit to re-grade and reinstate the track before the championship round the following week.

Option 2
The test day would be scheduled for the day before the actual Championship rounds. The main points of note here are;

·Pre-booking would be essential and we’d have to control numbers in order not to over stress the track too close to the actual event.
·Competitors could leave their cars on site for the following day’s event.
·Track conditions would likely be similar to actual race day.
·The track would not have a lot of time to recover and settle.


As Rallycross runs over the darker winter months, we would anticipate the test day running from 10:00am – 4:00pm with a lunch break of 1pm-2pm.
The pricing structure is likely to be in the region of: €130.00

We would be obliged if you could advise us of your intent and preference on the chart below. Competitors are asked to bear in mind that with Ambulance, staff costs, repairs and preparation of the track afterwards, we would have to be guaranteed a level of participants on these days to be in a position to offer the service. In addition, we will likely open these days to the wider rallying community to ensure we hit the numbers required, so it will be essential that Rallycross Competitors book and pay for their slots in advance to ensure they get first option on the spaces provided.

well if the money holds out the bmrt team will try and get 4 subaru's and the toyota out in the supercars this year but only if the money holds out we will do our best it should be fun in the garage on the saturday's before we race
