peespeed should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
D.C. does it again

Third place behind John McCluskey and George Tracey in todays A Final was enough for Dermot Carnegie to claim the Irish Rallycross Championship.
The day was not without drama as GT had planned to use the 6R4 but it was only running on 3 cylinders so he double drove his 306 with Joe Murray, JMC's Xsara wasnt boosting early in the day and after frantic work by the Murray Motorsport crew a split vacuum pipe was found then they encountered fuel surge problems. Helmut Holfeld was an early retirement with a suspected con-rod gudgeon pin breakage resulting in low oil pressure, then to add to the excitement DC lost 4th gear in the Focus which meant Julian Godfreys boys had to rebuild the 'box.

Yes, well put Peter. Really pleased he got it after the BRC drifted away from him!

Well done Dermot, Laurence last heard, had not decided whether to rebuild his 6R4 or go for a new car. Lets not forget he does not have the money behind him like most of the others.

Talk on the street is that Laurence is trying to do a deal for a Lancer......that talk is coming from the other Supercar drivers so there's bound to be some little bit of truth in it

I spoke to Gibson at Croft and he mentioned a lancer then so hopefully it will be ready for next season.

I would love to do a model with proper decals of DC 's car so I think I will ad that to the list for next year as More rallycross models should be done.

I had Chris Evans asking for models of the Astra but you cannot get the base model
BUGGER

I think Revell do a DTM Astra which you may be able to kitbash. Or tell Chris to put a full DTM bodykit on his supercar!
