Spyker!
I have just heard that my beloved Spyker Squadron has signed up some more believers and now has enough cash to race at Miami and the Petit as well as Sebring and Le Mans! Hurrah!
Now I will be sure to get an interview with Derek Hill or some of the mechanics and eventually talk them out of their jackets .... Well, anyway get the interview. |

Yeah lets just hope that they dont have to weld the drive shaft together at Le Mans again like 2002 rofl.

Hey, if it works, it's the answer! They did complete lots more laps than the Prodrive Ferrari for only one example and did not burst into flames even once.

Thats true, but at least when Prodrive were running they were leading their GTS class, unlike the spyker who were tailing bringing up the rear of the GT class, and If I remember correctly the Spyker crashed out only 2 hours after the Ferrari 550. Both cars were in their Debut year so in theory neither car should have had a advantage in terms of reliabilty.
But then it all comes down to class and preperation and Prodrive have bags full of that and they will prove it this year in the ALMS and Le Mans, I wonder how the Spyker will do in the GT class, my bet is last place at Sebring - providing they finish, bets anyone? They've had a year to develop the car in. I'm gonna say mid-pack somewhere, but they'll at least *finish*.
And aside from all that, who cares?! That car was aboslutely GORGEOUS!! laters all... |

Some technical news: At the moment Cosworth Technology, a daughter of Audi, is transforming the Audi V8 engine to a bi-turbo engine. This engine will be placed in the new Spyker C8 Spyder T, which will be introduced at the IAA in Frankfurt next year. Also a racing version will appear in the future. |
