back of the grid should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Maserati 300S

Any idea which maserati 300S, phil Stewart was driving in the american east coast in 1956.
Phil Stewart is an enigma for me. Is he still alive ?
He drove a jaguar XK120M in 1954 and then an Osca MT4 (he finished 3d
at Watkins Glen) and apparently began with the Maserati 300S at Walterboro in 1956.
He won at Milwaukee in May and then shared the car with Ed Crawford at the Road American 500 where he (or Ed ?) crashed.
Apparently his career stopped there.
And no idea where his car went.

Well, it says here:
http://wsrp.ic.cz/natus1956.html
that he drove a 300s but I've looked in barchetta without success. He drove a 150s with Ed Crawford sometime, and Crawford is listed for another race in a 150s c/n 1655; they were driving for Tony Parravano, and he is listed as the entrant of 300s c/n 3058 in which Masten Gregory won a race at Torrey Pines.
