attaching pics to PM
If I need to attach/paste a picture to a PM, is it possible?
I'm not talking about an image which is on the web, but one who's just on my PC. I tried even through the "send email" window, but i didn't succeed: how can i do? |

I think it would take up too much server space if everyone started attaching pics to their PM's.
Also this can't be controlled by the mods unlike in a normal thread where they can at least ask to stop posting pics when too many are being uploaded. In a nutshell, it would just plainly slow the server down and cause the 'server busy' error to come up more frequently... I hope i'm right on this...

Good answer ASCII, but i have one more question: about email messages: do they stay on the server as well?

It's not possible to send an attachment via a PM. If via email you mean the 'send email' link on someone's profile, then again no attachments can be sent.
PMs do stay on the server until deleted from your 'Sent Items' folder. Emails don't get saved anywhere. If you want to send someone an image you'll have to get their address and use your normal email package. |
