nem should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Speedway in America???????

I think there are maybe 2 Speedway tracks in California but then that was a couple of years ago.

Is there still any Speedway racing here in the states?

Not in the classic style of the UK outside of a few tracks. Our flat track series tend to be run on 1 mile horsetracks with the 500 and 600cc thumpers. Its great racing but very much in the grassroots in the US. For some reason motorcycling of any sort is a subculture that many look down on in the US. I got to see an AMA Flat Track National earlier this year at Will Rogers Downs in Claremore, Oklahoma. Imagine these guys twisting the throttle on a 600cc twin and lapping on a 1 mile clay flat oval. Drafting is critical as is early corner setup. Its a blast to see.
