What's worst F1 or Indy?

F1 is my pick.

if you mean Indy 500 vs F1, the Indy 500 is probably more special to win than an individual GP, but the World Championship is more important than the Indy 500.

If yoy mean cart/irl, F1 is much better.

Surely this whole topic was discussed in this forum last year. Do we really need to go back over the whole thing again?

Withought a doubt, it's gotta be chalk. It's dusty it's dirty it smells bad and it's something that teachers use to punish the bad students by making them write lines. Cheese, on the other hand, can be very filling when you've got a nice appetite, and it goes well with a lot of things

In what way is F1 good? (other than McLaren and Kimi)

CART/Indy/IRL are way better, more competitive, more exciting and they have overtaking!!!

I prefer F1.
I have never had an interest in Indy/Champ cars, never got into it, so I can't comment on it. I know 1 thing though. I prefer my racing on a real track. Not round in a circle.

Its not exciting compared to CART. Example:

Fontana last year = 19 different leaders.

Most ppl say they find oval racing boring. If they actually watched a race, they would probably find it exciting.

Why else have I gone to a CART race and not an F1 race?

yeah i have in fact watched oval racing and i have done it several times - i only watch it for the crashes and the end...other than that it is quite boring - i mean its fast n all - i think like nameless said - shorten it or get it on channel 4...

I think that now that F-1 has finally came back to the states that the American Grand Prix is the best race to win in F-1

First of all you cant realy compare the two. Would you rather see cars race in circles all day or on a circut? How many drivers in "Indy" as you put it would like to go to Formula 1? How many drivers in Formula 1 would like to go to "Indy", none, I can tell you that right now.

Different series appeal to different people. There's not really a clear cut answer to which is a better series.

But personally, i like F1 more than Cart, for many reasons. If we want to achieve the level of excitement on CART in F1, all we need is to have a yellow flag and the pace car every 10 laps.

CART does produce some pretty interesting races. But especially in the road courses, remove all yellow flags and what we have would be very much similar to F1 in Hungary.

Some people have got a serious amount of spare time - wanting to contribute to a BB on a subject they don't even like!

F1 is a constructor's championship first, with racing as a finale. If you only judge it by the racing you will find it dissappointing. If you happen to think that sucks, don't watch it!

Considering that it is just a flame bait from Bud, I would say the same as the others discussions before:

Why worry, if you can have both ?
I can enjoy both of them and any other serie I like,
it is not a game of what's better or worst,
just good sports to watch !

Oh yes, Bon.

I love watching F1, and whenever i have coverage for any other races, i watch them to. Carts, LeMans, Macau GP, WRC...the occasional touring car and DTM races they show on air... even Truck racing isn't alien..

I would thought most people who watch Formula 1 would be racing enthusiast first...and a fan of speed, racing and cars... thus i don't really see the need to be either an absolute CART-fan, or otherwise...

So, to the guy who started this arguement, in all friendliness, you need to drink more Bud...(jus kiddin, don't be too serious)
