I've heard that you can use a semi-synthetic oil in the crossflow engine but I'm not sure which grade...I have been using Duckhams 10w 40. Comma oil is cheaper but I have no idea if its any good? Apparently it is used in Palmer Audi

Some guys use semi-synthetic like Duckhams some use full synthetic like Mobile 1 some use a non synthetic go with what your engine builder recomends. Don't try and save £10 on engine oil when you are spend so much on racing, buy the best.

I've used Mobil 1 5W-30 in a Kent 1600 and have no complaints. I think though that my next 1600 motor will get Red Line 20W racing oil. The Red Line light shock-proof gear oil is really good stuff and what I run in Hewlands (FF 1600) Good luck, Jim

Millers do an oil 'specially for them, they say. Never had problems using it. See their web site.
