I've noticed in the last day or so that when I first go to a forum there's the usual little pink envelopes that tell me there are new posts. However, out of the 4 or 5 topics with "new" posts, some do indeed have new posts, and some have posts which I have read. If it were just the older topics that did not have any new posts, I wouldn't be worried, since I've encountered the situation before in which the oldest topic or 2 has no new posts, but there "new" and "old" topics are mixed up randomly. Has anyone else encountered this?

It's part of the cookie system. It's a bit intermittent for me, though I use the same computer at work all the time.
For me, some of the pink envelopes are posts I've made myself the last time I was on-line. Is this what you mean? |

Are you sure there's only one page of replies ? Pages are now split when there is over a certain number of replies - ask Carrie...
Other than that, it is known for peoples browsers and ISP's to cache older versions of pages - do a hard refresh and see if it loads the latest version. |
