Toyota speed update

In recent testing at Barcelona, the Toyota's of Salo and McNish went 1.23.970, and 124.4 respectively. The track record is 1.19.63, on July 4, Gene did 1.21.782 in the Williams.

So it appears that Toyota are continuing to improve, as you would expect, given the input of Brunner, and the amount of testing they have been doing at different circuits lately.

At this rate, they will be having quite the battle to defeat Honda next season, which I expect is their goal in the first year.

Anyone think otherwise?
