Why not? I have a friend who has offered to pay me to attend an open day and show him how to drive his VW golf. A scarey prospect as it is a VW Golf but never the less, I can't resist the cash and track time.

Thank the lord for track days

I have owned a VW Golf and indeed still do own a formula ford - they are not similar.

Think he means a "formula ford" Lee

Woman at sign on: "are you a formula ford driver"

Driver: "Yes I am - Lee Chatburn, you may remember me from such championships as Northern Island and Northwest - chuffed you recognised me"

Woman at sign on: "Sorry no formula ford drivers allowed dus to excess bull**** coming from their mouths all the time"

Driver: "ok"

Obviously car!

Actually I believe many do not allow single seaters at their days.

There is a track day company that allows FF's I think it is either Track Action or Easy Track? I even think Donny's track day company allow them.

If only I had a secretary.

I just tried some physical exercise laying some under floor heating in the bathroom and slit my finger open. My day is going from bad to worse, I think I'll go back to bed and try again tomorrow.

Just browsing in the F Ford section and saw this thread. Donington allow single seaters to run on their own track days. A friend of mine ran a Zetec their only a couple of weeks ago.

TrackAction have emailed me and they said that Donington and Anglesey allow single seaters but MSV will not allow SS in the same sessions as Saloons and there is never enough SS to have a stand alone session. If you put caterham wheel covers on then you can run at any circuit with saloons.....

Are you doing some work today?

Reckon your hangover was induced by skiving off to **** around with your bathroom!

Is that right Chris? Cos it'll still be single seater! just not "open wheeled" but that is how Brands used split testing i.e. open wheel one session enclosed wheel the other
