Tony Crossley should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Car setup garage.

Hello all, can anyone point me towards the name/number/web site of any places that are able to help do a decent suspension/car setup check.

I'm a just doing some clubby racing so have no team or big budget for the equipment needed.

I'm trying to find someone who can check the wheel alignment, camber, castor etc (so I know what I currently have with the car) and even better - can calculate its corner weights.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Tony.

Crikey! A lot of replies there. And thanks for the welcome.
I should have been clearer though. I'm oop North (Yorkshire dales) and the car is....
A modified MGB! Adjustment is a bit limited due to the regs stipulating a lot of standard suspension, but I need to make sure everything is actually pointing the right direction. That the camber on each side is correct (camber is modified by longer bottom wishbones!). Most important to me is the corner weights, with that info I can at least work out the correct springs to get on the car. Currently I think I've got it far too stiff and with insufficent suspension movement. It likes to waggle a front wheel: http://www.duff-racing.co.uk/mg-goddards2.htm :0

Mackmot, where is your dad based ?

Tony if you are in Yorkshire then Andy Mackie is your man, if he cannot sort out the handling then no-one can. Good luck

Sorry to hijack this thread but I've got the same requirement with my Fiesta. Anyone know somewhere good and cheap in Essex where I can get my car done?
