Reinstate Clive Brown
One of our great contributors to these forums, Clive Brown, has recently been banned for expressing views in a particular thread. Aparently the moderators of that thread were sticking strictly to rules of the forum regarding free speech and now he is seemingly banned for life!
Clive is a great source of factual information and amusing stories from club racing particularly in the 70's & 80's He has helped other racers tremendously in researching information, just recently with 911Hillclimbers search for the history of his car. So PLEASE moderators and owners of this site can we be somewhat less draconian and more pragmatic and remove the ban and once again let Clive provide the inteliigent (OK sometimes) and certainly amusing contributions to what is probably the most active and valuable resource on British Motor Sport on the web. All responses welcome |

Except in the case of obvious spammers, a ban is very much the last resort in the Ten-Tenths moderators "toolbox". Where applicable, moderators and super-moderators will have sent polite PMs to a user regarding their behaviour, then if that fails warnings will be issued. For users who disregard the suggestions of our moderators, disregard warnings and assume that they can continue their behaviour after multiple warnings then a ban is an inevitable result.
