Top 11 within one second in qualifying
I'll go for
1) Watts

3) Sharp
4) McLoughlin
5) Turkington

And I'd put the other two Motaworld runners in the top ten.

20 within a second.

They'd better do. With 34 making it to the grid and I doubt 36 will turn up, They'd better.

Of course! It's going to be a traditional sunny Bank Holiday. Except when it rains...

Didn't they say it was going to chuck it down at Brands? I never believe weather forecasts, especially my own.

It's funny, of the drivers I was talking to yesterday, most of them don't want it to rain at tests, even if they've hardly had any wet running in Formula Renault cars yet. As I was saying to a certain Australian: "This is Britain, it's gonna rain eventually, get used to it!"

Oh, I reckon 34 cars will try to qualify.

kbudden should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
1. Watts
2. Sharp
3. Mcloughlin
4. Rudholm
5. Legge

15 within a second (cos I reckon it could be wet in qualifying and that will sort the men from the boys! - figuratively speaking before Katherine and Susie think I've left them out!)

I'm glad I didn't post this last night!
Following the exclusions of Danny Watts and Robert Bell (see www.singleseaters.co.uk for details), Thruxton became one of the lowest scoring rounds in the prediction competition, with the top three entrants all scoring only 2 points.
17 were within a second in qualifying and the results, subject to appeal, are:

bella/pb btcc/paulzinho 2
Jonny Apex/Paul Rayner/Spinner/kbudden 1
