badgeman62 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
a new challenge

for those of you (like me),who are still unsure of the pork pie magnet,i am asking you to join me in trying the sosidge roll magnet.i believe that it is not the filling, but the pastry, and as you get more pastry and less sosidge, then my theory should be right.as from next season i will bring a sosidge roll to each meeting,to see if my theory works.if it does then all marshals unite, and ditch the pork pie.for those who dont like sosidge rolls, just bring the pastry. i would be interested to know when the pork pie was first introduced to marshals, and how effective was it.
as you can tell i have got sod all else to do today.

But it's the wrong type of pastry. Pork Pie uses shortcrust, sausage rolls use filo!

You might as well try Jammy Dodgers or croissant!

The whole pork pie theory doesn't seem to work. We sacrificed 2 pork pies at the Touring Cars this year - laid bits all over the tyrewall and then.... nothing!

Even Tim Harvey didn't stop by for a quick bite!

Pork Pies only work south of the border for proper Englishmen

You'll need to find some wild haggis

it's not the timing or the venue.......

it's the spelling!!

Sosidge Rolls don't work, but Sausage Rolls have a chance.

but the Pork Pie still rules.

Its only pork pie that works.

And for the record sausage rolls use puff pastry...not filo.

I hate pork pies so I had cheese & onion pasties yesterday & today at Rockingham. We had several visitors, including a pirouetting, rolling Vento (with triple salko & pike) & the same Ginetta twice in separate races.

So, I think that just about puts the final nail in the coffin of the pork pie theory. Mind you having said that, I don't normally attract many incidents so perhaps someone else had a snuck a supply of pies onto the post while I wasn't looking...

I thought that pork pies had to be eaten to have any effect? i.e. as soon as the first/last mouthful is consumed the post will be inundated. I had heard a rumour that bakewell tart is the new pork pie but not for a while.

I usually have vegetarian sandwich fillings and as I am often on startline this has been known to have a "reverse maget" effect so that a car on the rows I am gridding up either fails to appear at all or stalls at the start. I'll be at Brands for Formula Fords and Trucks so maybe I should monitor this more scientifically?
