RICHARD.T should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi
I have the Chevron B43 #9. It is the ex Stohr car which I still race in UK Classic F3.
Do you own the car #9 and where are you based? Does it still have the Toyota engine?
Vin Malkie might have the Chevron records as to the history of your car. His telephone number is (44) (0) 1565 777395
Regards
Richard

Richard, a PM is a Private Message; assuming that your's is operational, click on the 'private messages' line - top right hand of page; nothing unpleasant; just a question! Probably won't be at Oulton, unfortunately!

Wasn't Bert Schaffer more of a Ralt man than Chevron?

Dear Alain, I am sorry for you. it's very to have some information about the Chevron formula 3 model. I am looking for Chevron B47 but nothing about this car. Did you have some friends with this car able to send me the history of the Derek Mc Mahon team cars driven by Stefan Johansson, Bernard Devaney and Eddie Jordan.

my dear mama fémi , tu pense que si j'avais des amis , que dis je des amis , presque des parents ! qui soient capables des trouver des information sur the story of the Derek Mc Mahon team with these fabulous drivers : Stephan Johansson , Bernard Devaney and Eddie Jordan , tu pense réellement que je serais en train de galérer comme un malade en insistant lourdement sur ce forum pour obtenir the story of this fabulous car : the Chevron B 43 # 05 now in the hands of my friend the French driver called Rémy Née

I have an answer for you. B43-78-05 sold new to Belgian driver Quirin Bovy. Kept by him in 1979. After that no records!
Source is factory build record.

The factory build records are extremely difficult to get hold of and have not - and very probably never will - be published on the web. It's is only through Chris's contacts, charm and persistence that he is able to get hold of odd snippets from the records.

My charm in these matters is greatly over-rated...
I have, however, asked my man the question concerning Michael Roe's B47

Whilst it is unlikely that the build records will ever appear, I do hope that in the fullness of time [when F3 records go ORC in about 20 years] it will be possible that every Chevron, like every Ralt and every March and every Lola, will have its race results recorded on www.oldracingcars.com
