Congrats to starting so early in your life!

Since it's a pencil track it should be easy to edit, so I'd suggest try open up a little bit on the first set of corners, both hairpins look mighty pointy, can you increase the radius just a bit?

Oh cool cool, Great place down there, marshalls are really great and if you ask they will go out in a kart in your session and show you the best line etc for free, deffo worth going there. Try and beat my best 22.300 (you wont :P) They are opening a outdoor track called ''March Raceway'' in March (place not month :P)

Hello and welcome to the board Hayesy-Karter!

Your J-Park has quite a nice blot shape. The drawing is a bit muddy, though, but that's only natural as you're just starting out. I'm going to try to draw up an edit of the circuit, just because I like the shape.
See you later.

As has been suggested already the first, needs to be defined a bit more and the second the track appears to get a bit close to itself.

If you up for some advice, perhaps at this stage, just stick to a single line design.
Unless you have a way of getting the lines parallel it can look a little untidy, it also then brings scale into question.
What I mean by that is a track is about 13-15 metres wide, if you do a design with parallel lines you then have to think about the corner radius. Especially for chicanes and hairpins.

Take a look at the single line drawings of real circuits Here it may help to give you a better idea of how tight to make the twisty bits and how close to each other they can be.
If you have Google Earth then check out the circuits "in real Life" to compare.

Just by looking at single line and then real pictures it can help to really get a grasp of how things might work.

Don't be put off, by what I've said, you clearly have the ideas its just finding the best way to show them off.

Thanks SBF, by the way u have all been well helpful

Yeah single lines I shall try from now on

By the way the second one was a kart track not a car one so hence being smaller

So here it is. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to practise my drawing skill again on a track shape that I like, as I have been rather less productive when it comes to my own designs as of late. I guess I've plastered the countries of the world with tracks twice over already so it's about time to take a break ;-)

Anyway, my sketch, in which I have not used a software to manually edit out the drawing errors, should be able to show you the points that SBF has expressed in written form.

In this edit, I've tried to stick as closely as possible to what I think you have suggested in your initial sketch. I hope I achieved that goal.

Looking back on my edit, maybe I should have moved the infield section of "hairpin and ear" even further towards the infield, to enlarge the straight leading up to what you call "Turn 8" in your initial design, to create another overtaking opportunity.

By the way, I highly recommend using chequered paper and a ruler for straights.

Looks a lot clearer than the previous two

Good job imo

It will be a bit chaotic into the first corner and the flow isn't too bad either

...pit lane needs to be on the outside...

Sorry SBF, couldn't resist

It's fine, honestly. I prefer the outside track on the right hand side, if you know what I mean
