LJTempleton should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Help!! F/1 Tv

We Formula One devotees in the States need your help! We don't know
how things work in your part of the world but here in the States we
only have one TV feed for the Formula One races. That feed is brought
to us by a channel called "Speedvision". Seems as though Fox Sports
has bought Speedvision and is going to turn it into the NASCAR
channel. For those of you who do not know what NASCAR is it's a type
of racing like your saloon car racing. However, NASCAR only competes
on ovals.

Therefore, we are asking you Formula One fans to e-mail the Chairman
of Fox Sports, Mr. David Hill and ask him to retain Formula One. We
would appreciate it if you don't tell him you can't view his network
and you are not from the States. Since we do not have a multitude of
Formula One fans in the States we need volume. A short message
saying, "keep Formula One" will do nicely. All of the Formula One
fans in the States thank you. Mr. Hill's e-mail address is:
feedback@foxsports.com
Under the subject put: Attn. Mr. David Hill

Welcome to 10 Tenths, LJTempleton.
Although I think the intention of your mission is a nobel one and I even sympathize with you, I don't think asking our members to be dishonest is the solution.
I understand you would appreciate it if we don't tell Mr. Hill we can't view his network and we are not from the States, but isn't that lying?
Besides, don't you think they'll notice from what part of the world the e-mails come from?

Could someone please start lobbying Speedvision to cut a deal with a European satellite or cable carrier?

I've been looking at the schedules for what North America gets right now, and I'm frankly jealous.

Tell you what - perhaps an agreement with Rupert Murdoch's European minions for a place on the Sky satellite would make the sort of money Fox thinks it can earn by increasing the NASCAR coverage.

And then everyone would be happy. The US Formula 1 enthusiasts would get F1, Fox would get money, and I'd get to see the classic NASCAR and Indianapolis reruns that I've been wanting!

Valve Bounce has been held in scrutiny for further testing
I really think that it is up to the people in the United States of America to voice their concerns if they do not have sufficient television acces to F1. Surely the re must be some access to F1 fans who will be only too happy to lobby for you. If not, then give it up. I cannot see why fans from other parts of the world should lobby for the rights of people in the U.S., Surely this must be unconstitional. Why on earth should the redcoats lobby for you? George Washington would turn over in his grave if he heard you.

For those who may be interested in helping in another way, there is also an on line petition being got up The address is below. Again, it is best if you are an American resident, but we will take all of the help we can get.
