That's tough. Just when things were looking 'up' for the former Team Green.

Well, maybe IndyCar fans are more interested in the racing itself than in buying products. And really, who could blame them?

Izod coming off of RHR's car is a fact, no doubt there. It looks to me like AA is holding contracts for both drivers though, so they are motivated to find sponsorships or pay both drivers off.

What puzzles me Yannick, is that Izod indicated they are selling clothes. That's great, and if they see it as a better move to spend the dollars on the Series instead of a partial ride for one car, it's the right decision.

It would just be nice if they would say so, wouldn't it? All of this looks bad from the outside, and makes the sell even tougher to other sponsors.

Seems to be an odd world when someone spins "positive signs from izod" and that consists of them cutting $$$ to run 1 car in the league.

Huh. Well, over the winter I think we are going to see more of this startling thinking coming out of the irl.

It's pretty hard to assess what IZOD is doing and why. The notion of sponsoring one car for five races didn't seem like a good plan to you, did it?

I sure wouldn't accuse them, or IndyCar, of managing their PR very well. The Izod Q2 report was positive: but with no one willing to take credit for it, there still isn't anything except spin to listen to. How that is going to sell investors is beyond me.
