Decent pint or creamflow dishwater type stuff? I always find the quality of the beer is in inverse proportion to the venue but with a price to suit the clientele they're expecting, as opposed to what they get.

Very deep for this time of the night Woolley, but I totally agree.

Back on topic, have a great time folks, if you're going. I can't make it but will be represented by some right characters....er gentlemen.

Well it didn't quite go to plan for us! We arrived at the hotel at 2pm....booked in and went for a swim! Afterwards, Lisa & I enjoyed a few drinks (Something neither of us have done in a good while) and got ready in our best frocks for the evening's festivities!

However, we then got a call from the people looking after my 2 yr old to say that he'd been taken ill again and was being taken into hospital.
Having had a drink, I was not prepared to drive back to Stoke. My lad has spent many many months in hospital, so whilst concerned for him, the reassurance from the nurse that he was ok put our minds at rest somewhat (I can hear the mutterings of "Bad Parents" already lol) but we really didnt feel like coming down for dinner.
We had an early-ish breakfast this morning at the hotel before setting off back to see Matt at the hospital where he seems to be ok)

Shame we missed out on the shananigans but hopefully there will be another chance one day.
Many thanks to the BRSCCNW for the invitation though and we're glad that a good time was had by all
